Hillary Jackson

Hillary came to the real estate profession after more than 30 years working in nonprofit arts administration for numerous performing arts organizations in New York City and regionally. She worked in all aspects of arts management including marketing, fundraising, educational programming, and financial management. 

Having lived in both Ulster and Dutchess counties, and worked in Columbia and Greene counties, Hillary’s intimate knowledge of the region is extensive. She has a deep appreciation for the gorgeous landscape, and the distinctive personalities of the people who have chosen to make the Hudson Valley and Catskills their home. Hillary’s goal is helping others find their dream homes in this idyllic utopia, and coming from a life in the arts, she was overjoyed to have found Halter Associates, a firm that shares her own values of honesty, integrity, and attentiveness, and she is thrilled to be a part of the Halter team. 

The daughter of a playwright and theatre director, Hillary also worked in production at several prominent Off-Broadway theatres, as well as the Big Apple Circus. Locally, Hillary has served on the board of Ellenville’s professional theatre company Shadowland Stages. Shadowland is just one of many of the hidden gems in the region and what makes living here such a culturally rich experience. Hillary’s own artistic pursuits have been in the field of dance. She now also works as a dance educator in the Hudson Valley specializing in Russian Method ballet as well as contemporary dance. 

Hillary brings to real estate the qualities that have made her a highly successful educator: passion, enthusiasm, and personability, a deep sense of caring for the well-being of her clients, an ability to put herself in their shoes, to listen, and to communicate with care, consideration, and respect. She brings her creativity to the table to solve problems and ensure a positive outcome for all.
