His family’s roots run deeply through Woodstock, where his great-grandfather served as the town doctor and his grandmother, Jo Cantine, was a noted 20th-century oil painter. This multi-generational connection gives Peter a rare and authentic understanding of the community, its history, and its evolution.

Professionally, Peter brings extensive experience in hospitality, commercial property operations, and real estate management throughout New York City and the Hudson Valley. Hands-on in day-to-day operations, he has worked across property management, planning, financing, and government approval processes. As a RUPCO-registered landlord, he has also contributed to providing affordable housing in the Woodstock area.

Peter’s background in public service further strengthens his real estate expertise. As a former Woodstock Town Council member and past President of the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce & Arts, he has been directly involved in key local decisions affecting zoning, development, and community planning. He has helped negotiate real estate acquisitions for the Town of Woodstock and worked on zoning law development, amendment, and defense.
