Accord, NY, is a small hamlet in the eastern part of the town of Rochester, along US Route 209 in Ulster County, covering 3.4 square miles in the foothills of the Shawangunk and Catskill Mountains. The scenic Rondout creek flows through the center of the area. With a population of around 600, , Accord is home to three sites on the National Register of Historic Places — the Appeldoorn Farm, the Joachim Schoonmaker Farm and Common School No. 10 — and many other remarkable old stone homes and farms.
