Tivoli

The village of Tivoli is a 1.8-square mile community on the banks of the majestic Hudson River, with spectacular views of the Catskill Mountains. Located in the northwest part of the Dutchess County town of Red Hook, Tivoli was established as a port on the Hudson in 1795 and was incorporated in 1872. Today, Tivoli is a residential village of tree-lined streets, with a thriving arts community and a vibrant, walkable town center featuring fine restaurants, cafes, an art gallery, a theater, boutiques, and a classic general store. One mile away is the Hudson River, and one block from the village’s main street is Memorial Park, with playgrounds, fields, courts and the community garden. Bard College is just south of the village, in the neighboring hamlet of Annandale-on-Hudson, and the Kaatsbaan International Dance Center is located within the village boundaries.
