As a snowstorm begins to descend on the Northeast, just in time for Thanksgiving, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on all the things I'm thankful for. Our real estate business has been up and running in Woodstock NY since October 6th, and every day has been wonderful. With my super talented and energetic Manager, Karen Gilbane, by my side very day, we are rocking' and rollin' the Woodstock real estate world!
We've been lucky to attract talented agents to our team, each bringing their strong work ethics and skill set. Pieta Williams has been shining bright as our new star, working with buyers and sellers in her warm and engaging fashion! A few weeks ago we were thrilled to welcome Dan Winn and Sheri Safier, a husband and wife team that have almost 50 years of real estate experience between them. Dan is known for his ability to see the potential in properties that are in disrepair, and making them into wonderful homes for a new generation. He's also a talented listing agent. Sheri works with buyers an sellers of residential properties, and with her winning personality she has enjoyed years of success! We have a total of 7 agents now, with another agent starting next week and one starting in January.
We recently had our ribbon cutting with the Ulster County Chamber of Commerce, and had a big party afterwards. So many people came out to support us-including agents from rival companies, our tried-and-true mortgage bankers, family and friends. It was a day to remember!
I cannot thank everyone enough for their love and support, good wishes and positive thoughts as we launched our real estate business and new office space. My husband and business partner Paul Schmalz as gone above and beyond the call of duty! The outpouring of hard work and good will has made me very thankful indeed.
