This Saturday, December 1, #LiveLikeALocal. We're celebrating Sinterklaas!, an "old Dutch tradition in the Hudson Valley" and an annual "day-long, colorful celebration that features children’s workshops, dance, theatre and music all over the village."
The festivities begin at 10 AM with the Bear Beauty Contest. The majestic Opening Ceremony takes place from 12 to 2 PM, followed by Toy Theater from 1 PM to 5 PM.
The Children’s Starlight Parade begins at 6 PM and closes out the celebration at twilight, featuring two-story-tall animated puppets carried by hundreds of volunteers.
