This season gray is the favored exterior color for homes in the Hudson Valley. As our affinity for gray paint has increased, homeowners are getting creative–deepening the shades they choose to charcoals that sometimes border on black. We've seen a house that wasn't selling painted gray, and offers started coming in.

There's an endless array of gray to choose from! We love Benjamin Moore-Kendall Charcoal HC-166, Pratt & Lambert's Rubidoux, Sherwin Williams' Peppercorn and Farrow & Bella's Blackened Gray and Pavilion Gray.  

As a neutral tone, medium and dark gray beautifully complement a mountain backdrop, a lush landscaped garden or a wall of trees.
